Test Engineer Germantown, MD Salary: 85k – 115k Join us in designing and manufacturing state-of-the-art software-defined radar applications for military use. Job Summary: As a Test Engineer at our innovative company, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge RF-based products and systems. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves designing, developing, and executing test plans, automating test scripts, and diving deep into data analysis. You’ll be the detective who uncovers issues, the troubleshooter who solves problems, and the guardian of our product standards. Plus, you’ll get to collaborate with a dynamic international team of engineers! Key Responsibilities: • Development of automated test scripts using Python. • Craft and execute comprehensive test plans that leave no stone unturned. • Analyze test results to uncover hidden issues and ensure quality. • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with precision and creativity. • Work hand-in-hand with an international team of engineers to ensure seamless integration and testing. Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • At least 2 years of experience in test engineering. • Proficiency in Python programming for test automation. • Deep understanding of RF principles, including signal integrity, interference, and performance testing. • Familiarity with the setup and usage of signal analyzers and signal generators. • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment and tools. • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desired Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • Experience with radar systems and the defense industry is a plus. • Experience with RF simulation tools and equipment. • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to RF engineering. • Experience with thermal and vibration testing. • Proven track record in test engineering with a focus on RF products and systems.
