Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Test Engineer to join our team to provide the United States Marine Corps advanced Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) capabilities! In this position, you will assist your team in a variety of CUAS system testing activities ensuring the system meets specifications prescribed by the government.

Must reside within 50 miles of the Fredericksburg Va office location.  The work schedule will be a hybrid of in office and remote.  Some work will be conducted at Summit Point, WV and Dahlgren , Va.  There may be occasional CONUS travel to support project work. 

What You'll Be Doing:

· Design and Develop Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and functionality align with user requirements and company standards.

· Execute Tests: Perform manual and automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and document issues in a defect tracking system.

· Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with software developers and project managers to understand product design, participate in design reviews, and provide input on software features and performance expectations.

· Develop and Maintain Automation Frameworks: Create and maintain test automation frameworks, scripts, and tools to increase efficiency and coverage of testing.

· Evaluate New Testing Technologies: Assess and recommend new testing technologies and tools for potential adoption to improve testing processes and outcomes.

· Perform Security Testing: Conduct security vulnerability testing and compliance checks to ensure the software meets industry standards and protects user data.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

· Qualify and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

· Minimum 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a technical area of expertise from an accredited college or university.

· Networking experience

· Scripting language (Javascript, Python, C#, etc)Certifications include ISTQB Certified Tester or Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) can be beneficial but not required.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

· System Administrator experience

· DevSecOps understanding (Jenkins, Junit, etc.)

· Experience working with wide range of networking and other electrical equipment

Salary Range: 

$70,500.00 - $123,400.00
