Job Title: Vibration Analyst Job Description Actalent is seeking a professional, innovative, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mechanical Engineer/ Vibration Analyst. This full-time position offers the opportunity to solve real-world technical problems and provide support to customers in the Marine, Industrial, and Power Generation industries. You will use engineering data and drawings to build theoretical models of engine or motor-driven mechanical systems and utilize our software to analyze and identify potential vibration issues. Training will be provided, and this is a long-term career position based in our office in Germantown Hills, IL. Responsibilities + Acknowledge customer requests for work within one business day. + Communicate with customers to understand their needs and expectations. + Maintain accurate records in project database for each project to ensure staff can clearly understand the status of each project. + Deliver vibration reports to customers within promised turnaround time. + Regularly contact customers to ensure we are providing the support they need. Essential Skills + Detail-oriented + Strong project management skills + Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously + General knowledge of mechanical systems + Professional communication skills in writing and over the phone + Self-motivated Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics preferred + Mechanical aptitude + Experience with CAD software Work Environment This company has a small, tight-knit team of 12 in the US, with additional offshore presence in India.
