Test Engineer
Our client, leading HVAC Manufacturer is seeking a Test Engineer to join their team. As a Test Engineer, you will work in a large R&D Laboratory evaluating performance of new products and technologies. Test Engineers work on a team providing subject matter expertise to build and improve test facilities involving mechanical and electrical systems, data acquisition, and control/automation. **Job Title: Test Engineer - LabView** **Location: Plymouth, MN** **Pay Range: $45- $47/HR** **What’s the Job?** 1. Act as primary technical resource for troubleshooting issues with test cells, instrumentation, data acquisition software, and test units. 2. Create technical project plans for new or upgrades to existing capital test equipment. 3. Work with cross-functional project teams to ensure testing expectations are clearly defined and communicated. 4. Champion data collection process, from acquiring signals to data verification & reporting 5. Implement laboratory process improvements as related to productivity, metrics, and continuous improvement. 6. Review, comprehend, and interpret external testing standards & how they apply to internal testing procedures. **What’s Needed?** + Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering - preferably in Mechanical Engineering + 3-5 Years of Experience as Test Engineer in Industrial Automation Environment + LabVIEW experience - MUST + Proficient with lab software, data acquisition and analysis + Proficient with fundamentals of instrumentation, including RTDs, thermocouples, pressure transducers, flow meters, electrical and power measurements, and analog/digital data acquisition. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills required If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
