Client is looking for a Test Engineer with 5+ years relevant experience in Automation, Unit/Component and Regression testing to work side-by-side with developers to write automated tests across the entire solution stack (including performance tests) to ensure that the software shipped is defect free and performs under load.
The ideal candidate will have:Strong Java and Javascript experience; willing to work on QA area. SDET type candidates preferredGood working experience in frameworks such as Cucumber & Selenium, TestNG/JUnitKnowledge of wroking on Database/SQLExposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Docker, UDeploy, CrucibleExperience working in a Agile environmentExperience with test management tools such as Quality CenterExperience in developing automated tests for APIs (Web Services [REST and SOAP])Must be a high energy, team player looking to join a group of likeminded individuals to make an impact on the market place.Job Responsibilities:Analyze the requirements and help with defining the acceptance criteria for the features that are being developedWork closely with the Product team to understand their expectations of how a feature would functionDecompose user stories/requirements to identify what tests need to be created and automated across the full solution stack (unit, business logic, integration, API, workflow, performance)Work in tandem with the developers to automate tests for the full solution stack (unit, business logic, integration, API, user experience, performance)Work with the development and operations teams to debug testing failuresActively monitor post-release metrics to identify any defects that may have slipped through the cracks.
