The CSO Test Engineering Team through hardware and software design develops custom test solutions to address the specific test requirements for a wide array of devices. This experienced team provides a full range of performance validation services for precision high-performance integrated circuits used in analog, digital, mixed and RF-signal processing applications.
Work as part of a test engineering team that develops and maintains test solutions for leading-edge high-performance microelectronics packaging, hybrids, modules and components. Develop, implement or improve HW and SW test solutions for products using a variety of technologies.
Responsibilities:
Design and maintain test applications on an Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and System-on-Chip (SoC) systems Design and maintain Burn-in and High-Temperature Operating Life (HTOL) test applications Circuit board design, schematic capture and layout Develop wafer sort applications Integrate test systems with package handlers and other robotic automation Developing test applications with performance test equipment (e.g. VNA, Oscilloscopes, source meters, precision digital multi-meters, power supplies, power meters, BER Testers, and switching matrixes etc. . .) Write test reports, procedures and specifications. Train Technicians and Operators to be self-sufficient in test operation and maintenance Calculate Test Accuracy and Uncertainty
Qualifications:
5+ years working experience in microelectronics industry or comparable military training in engineering technology or related field. BSEE, BS Physics, BS Computer Eng or equivalent degree or experience Flexibility – Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Effectiveness –Must possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative; Effectively prioritize and follow through on assignments and projects Troubleshooting/Debug – Experience troubleshooting electronic and mechanical products is required Communication – Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication and teamwork; Possess strong written and oral communication skills Flexibility – Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Effectiveness –Must possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative; Effectively prioritize and follow through on assignments and projects Troubleshooting/Debug – Experience troubleshooting electronic and mechanical products is required
Preferred Skills:
3 years or more experience with test & measurement equipment. 3 years or more experience writing software for test automation. Experience designing applications for the Incal, Aehr or MCC Burn-in Systems. (e.g. Sonoma, Tahoe or HPB-5C Burn-in Systems) Windows and UNIX operating system operation and configuration experience Network administration experience Lean – Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles Continuous Improvement – Experience interacting with engineering on continuous improvement projects; Experience with analytical problem-solving skills to solve technical problems Experience in software code development Quality – Experience in a regulated environment, such as ISO and AS9100D standards
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continually required to stand; walk; balance; crouch, stoop, twist, kneel, use hands to finger, handle, grasp, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, some overhead push/pull an average of 50 lbs. The employee is occasionally required to lift more than 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to view fine resolution on a computer monitor.
