Test Engineer Job Description We are seeking a knowledgeable Test Engineer with expertise in RF/microwave and high-speed digital test fundamentals. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in RF/microwave or high-speed digital testing, preferably up to millimeter wave frequencies. The role involves generating test plans, procedures, and reports, writing test code in Python, and identifying test equipment for A/D and D/A converters. Additionally, the Test Engineer will support circuit and board-level design reviews, transition new products to manufacturing, and perform other related duties. Responsibilities + Generate test plans, test procedures, and test reports. + Write test code in Python. + Identify test equipment and associated test configurations for testing analog-to-digital (A/D) and digital-to-analog (D/A) converters. + Support circuit and board-level design reviews as required. + Support the transition to Manufacturing for new products. + Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Proficiency in RF/microwave and high-speed digital test fundamentals. + Experience in RF/microwave or high-speed digital testing, ideally up to millimeter wave frequencies. + Ability to write test code in Python. + Experience with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and vector network analyzers. + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. + Minimum of 6 years demonstrated related work experience in high-speed test methods and related equipment. Work Environment The work environment is a testing lab located in Redondo Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $180000.00 Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, 401k and bonus potential based on company performance. Paid time off and holiday pay.
