Position: Entry Level Test Engineer
Pay: $20-$25 per hour
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Job Description:
We are seeking an Entry Level Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will run manual tests on robots to verify they complete tasks as prescribed before being approved for manufacturing. This position requires a blend of electrical and mechanical experience, the ability to read testing documents, and an astute attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the software development team to ensure machines/robots perform as intended.Follow a test log and instructions to conduct tests, ranging from simple movements to advanced functions.Record data meticulously and report findings to the test manager and software development team.Communicate results effectively through written and verbal reports.Input data into Excel and other software using a workstation.Skills & Qualifications:
B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Hands-on experience with electronics or electro-mechanical equipment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to follow directions and work autonomously.Positive attitude and aptitude for learning.Work Environment:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.Updated, modern office space with a full kitchen, offices, ping pong table, and a large test warehouse for robots.Most work will take place in the electronics/quality lab, with occasional work on the floor where robots are tested.Catered lunch every day.Flexible schedule and relaxed work environment (T-shirt & jeans).Employees can bring dogs to the office and choose their own desk chair.
