I am seeking a highly skilled Developmental Test Engineer for a contract position in Overland Park, KS. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of an extension.
This role is focused on developmental test engineering for radar systems, with a strong emphasis on expertise in RF testing, network security, and familiarity with ASTERIX standards. Below are the key details and requirements for the position:
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required, Must have the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test procedures based on defined requirements.Perform tests and demonstrate results to customers.Resolve complex technical and testing challenges.Contribute to radar system testing (prior experience is a plus).Utilize FEA or DoD testing processes.Conduct tasks including requirement mapping, test procedure development, dry runs, test execution, and reporting.Required Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.Experience:5+ years in test engineering (radar system experience is a plus).Proficiency in RF testing, including RF frequency measurements and analyzers.Knowledge:Familiarity with ASTERIX standards (preferred).Experience with network security (preferred).Pay Rate: $30 to $57 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
