Job Title: Test Engineer
Job Description

As a Test Engineer on our team, you will perform electronic test systems development, maintenance, and documentation tasks as needed for ventilation devices and other specialty products. The team member is also expected to apply good design practices, procedures, and design criteria. The role is primarily technical in nature but may include limited project management duties.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, fabricate, document, deploy and maintain electronic systems and fixtures for testing and programming of disposable electrodes and other specialty products in compliance with Acute Care Technology design control procedures.Incorporate hardware, software, and mechanical technologies (sensors, etc.) in test systems and fixtures for disposable electrodes and other specialty Acute Care Technology products.Skilled in embedded (micro-controller) electronics and software development for test equipment.Design and test to meet FDA/IEC standards and develop test techniques.Document test systems planning, architecture, requirements, verification & validation, design, schematics, software, etc. per industry standards and Acute Care Technology procedures.Assist in preparation of in-house specifications and documentation for new or revised test designs consistent with FDA and ISO standards.Provide technical support to Product development, Quality and Production in resolving problems. Participate in investigation of resolution of field incidents, customer complaints and other quality issues requiring technical support.Support management activity in preparation of schedule, budget and project reporting.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in engineering or related field10+ years experience in the Engineering (Electrical) field or any similar combination of education and experienceExperience with test equipment, LabView, software testing, test engineering, and validationExperience in embedded system (software and hardware) development for incorporating in disposable products and developing test equipmentLabView experience in test automationAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in medical device or other highly regulated industry experience preferredWork Environment

The work environment features a great culture and flexible work schedule. The role requires being onsite 5 days a week with no overtime (40 hours per week). The electrical design team consists of 3-5 people, and there are 20 people on the R&D team. The company was recently acquired and is currently rebuilding the team. They are planning to move locations in the new year.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00
