Job Title: Test Engineer
Job Description
Join our team as a Test Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing customer-supplied and designed test systems. You'll work closely with our Customer Focused Team to ensure top-quality test procedures, system documentation, and production flow. Using your expertise in Design for Test (DFT) and manufacturing, you'll drive test process improvements, troubleshoot failures, and ensure smooth implementation of engineering changes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on high-quality production systems and processes.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with customer test teams to develop effective production test strategies.Implement DFT principles in testing processes.Work with suppliers to coordinate test equipment and fixture development.Troubleshoot and debug test system hardware and software.Maintain and improve test systems and fixtures.Develop and update test system documentation.Commission and validate test systems for performance and functionality.Provide guidance and support to production test teams.Continuously improve existing manufacturing test systems.Participate in QA meetings and address test-related issues.Provide regular feedback and updates during team meetings.Essential Skills
Proficiency in test equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, RF, etc.)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of In-circuit Test, Boundary Scan, and Flying Probe.Experience with design of experiments and failure analysis.Solid technical documentation skills.Experience with electrical schematic diagrams.Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel (data analysis).Basic soldering and wiring skills.Additional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or similar.At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing test environment.Experience with automated test systems and test measurement instrumentation.Experience with PXI/LXI instrumentation, RF test equipment, and design software (LabVIEW, TestStand, C++, C#).Familiarity with PCB design and CAD software.Project management experience is a plus.Work Environment
This role offers a mix of office and production environments, with occasional time standing or walking. We provide a reimbursable relocation package, 3 weeks of PTO, and a 6% quarterly bonus structure. The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00
