KBR is seeking a Sustainment Test and Evaluation Engineer to support a MILSATCOM Program Management Office (PMO) within the US Space Force’s (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC) at Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), CO. We are looking for an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to provide test and evaluation and terminal operations on a diverse set of strategic and tactical MILSATCOM systems and infrastructure.

The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Air Force’s Space and Missiles System Center. We support the Air Force’s acquisition of state of the art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s warfighters. Key Responsibilities:

Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support of the Mission Planning Subsystem (MPSS) module dependencies for test design, detailed test procedure development, test execution, and reportingUse extensive MPSS experience and expertise to translate and apply knowledge of the suite of MPSS application modules’ to sustainment test design, system configuration diagrams, engineering studies, technical white papers, troubleshooting, and deficiency analysisIdentify and isolate software or hardware defects to evaluate/assess system modifications for shortfalls or interoperability issues and provide technical assessments to the client with regards to the modificationsAuthor and deliver technical documentation including test plans, test procedures, system configuration diagrams, engineering studies, technical white papers, and test reportsTravel: approximately 20%

Qualifications:

Required:

Active DoD Top Secret clearanceBachelor’s degree from an accredited university10+ years of experience working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships10+ years of experience with test processes and documentation4+ years of experience with MPSS, equipment, and troubleshootingKnowledge of DoD mission system sustainmentMust be a motivated, self-starter capable of autonomous on-the-job learning/improvementProficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills

Desired:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or equivalent technical disciplines from an accredited university3+ years of experience handling Communications Security (COMSEC) materials and devicesInternational Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Certification (i.e. ASEP, CSEP, ESEP)Experience with working in a highly competitive multi-contractor environmentSpecific experience operating or maintaining the Family of Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminals (FAB-T)

Basic Compensation: $120,000-$135,000 in Colorado
 

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
