Job Title: Test Engineer - Project Engineer (TPL)
Job Description

Join our dynamic team specializing in electromagnetic actuator and valve development and validation. As a Test Engineer, you will be part of the engine valve team, focusing on product engineering for engine control valves. You will support hydraulic valve testing and development, which includes valves that control gas to an engine, throttle valves, bypass, and fluid valves. This role involves significant time in the lab, supporting various projects such as NPI, CPI, and field failure analysis. Your work location will be in Mossville, with the flexibility to work from home, although lab visits may be required 2-3 days a week based on workload.

ResponsibilitiesSupport hydraulic valve testing and developmentWork on engine control valves, including throttle, bypass, and fluid valvesConduct field failure analysis and progressively move into CPI and NPI projectsCreate detailed and actionable verification and validation test plansCollaborate with internal and supplier test labs, as well as machine/engine field testing sites to execute test plansInterpret GD&T, technical drawings, and schematicsEssential Skills1+ years of experience in testing, mechanical, and electrical engineeringUnderstanding of electricity and magnetism as applied to actuate mechanical and hydraulic mechanismsAbility to create detailed and actionable verification and validation test plansExperience with test equipment and new product developmentAbility to interpret GD&T, technical drawings, and schematicsAdditional Skills & QualificationsMechatronics degree preferredExperience with mechatronics, robotics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, test engineering, torque motors, engine control valves, electromagnetic actuators, magnetic and hydraulic valvesWork Environment

You will work in a building with AC located in Mossville, IL. The position is mostly onsite with some remote work possible after 6 months of training. The role offers a hands-on test engineering opportunity working with next-generation technology.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $41.00
