Test Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an Autonomous Test Engineer to help create and maintain an automated test environment for HVAC equipment. This environment will be used to test controls functionality in virtual geographic environments. The role involves a mix of manual (80%-90%) and automated (10%-20%) testing, with a focus on transitioning towards more automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain an automated test environment for HVAC equipment.Work effectively with HVAC hardware and software development, software test, and product development teams.Analyze HVAC data using various data analysis tools.Perform manual testing and transition towards automated testing.Test HVAC controls functionality in virtual geographic environments.Maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.Meet short- and long-term deadlines.Mentor and lead other test resources.Think creatively to offer solutions to problems.

Qualifications:

AAS in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related discipline.1-3+ years of experience with quality testing Experience with dynamic software/electro-mechanical systems.Experience with Python, Linux, and automated test frameworks.Knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of HVAC, building control systems, and devices.Experience with HPE Quality Centre test case management system.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00
