Test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms. Perform baseline, integration, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts. Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a test engineer developing or executing test scripts and analyzing results while performing system testing
Experience creating scenarios that support the creation of test cases and procedures
Experience using and developing scripts in Python and creating regular expressions for searching data sets
Experience integrating new and old technologies into existing network configurations and test beds
Ability to develop, build, and test multiple lab environments using various telephony and networking hardware following formal testing methods
Ability to manage discrepancy reports identified during testing
Ability to set priorities and rearrange schedules to address unexpected issues
Ability to perform baseline, unit or integration, component, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Engineering Management
Additional Qualifications
Knowledge of Jenkins or other Continuous Integration Frameworks
Knowledge of PyTest automation frameworks
Knowledge of developing and building multiple lab environments
Knowledge of SPLUNK
Knowledge of working in a Linux environment
Knowledge of working in an Agile environment
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
