At our factory network Siemens AG develops and manufactures electric motors for the global market. Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in the automotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics. The topics of digitalization and simulations support us in planning for the future and in implementation.
Based in Oradea, we are looking for a “Testing Engineer” that helps us optimize and manage our testing activities.
What part will you play?
· You will manage the complex testing system of the electric motors.
· In addition to troubleshooting, this also includes calibrating and upgrading testing systems.
· You will be in charge of troubleshooting of the industrial printers from test equipment’s.
· You will be in charge of making creating and maintaining a list of spare and wear parts necessary for maintaining the test equipment’s / fixtures in good working conditions.
· You supervise any maintenance or upgrade work done by external company’s when necessary.
· You keep in touch with suppliers of testing equipment’s when needed.
· You will act as project manager and will be involved in testing systems and testing equipment transfer and procurement.
· We are continually developing, so you will also be involved in the development, testing and rollout of software for our testing systems.
· Together with our central DEV/OPS team, you will develop and implement data-based use cases for testing and manufacturing systems.
· You will connect machines and sensors to our data ecosystem and continuously develop it further with your feedback.
· You support the decision-making and optimization processes in our factory based on visualization, data engineering and data analytics.
What you need to make real what matters.
· You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics.
· Alternatively, you have comparable training and many years of professional experience.
· You have initial experience with medium-level programming language (C++, Python…) and you enjoy working with large data sets and modern technologies such as AI and ML.
· If you already have knowledge in automation technology, power electronics, drive technology and sensors, that is an advantage.
· Very good proficiency in English and / or German (spoken & written) is an absolute must to this role since you work in an international environment.
· Able to work autonomously and be a proactive problem solver with effective problem identification and solution skills
