Job Title: Test Engineer Job Description As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating test plans, procedures, and reports. You will also schedule and run tests at local labs, troubleshoot and test to DO 160, Mil 704, and Mil 461 standards, and conduct EMI/EMC testing. Essential Skills + Experience as an electrical technician. + Troubleshooting skills. + Experience with military test equipment. + Test engineering expertise. + EMI/EMC testing experience. + Ability to develop test plans. + Experience scheduling and running tests with test labs. + Knowledge of DO 160 standards. + Schematic reading and troubleshooting skills. + Test development experience. + Electrical engineering experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). + 3+ years of experience working as a Test Engineer in an aerospace company or in the military (full-time or reservist). + Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and function generators. + Knowledge of electrical circuits and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
