Job Description
Job Summary:
Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshot complex electrical, embedded, and software based test systems used to characterize and grade infrared readouts, focal plane arrays and Dewars. Research and report on the measured performance and yield of these products. Work closely with product development to ensure test capability is delivered to meet program needs. Assist the quality group with yield improvement projects and goals. Attend customer meetings and report on product testing methods and performance. Work environment is general office and semiconductor manufacturing clean room.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Configure existing test hardware to characterize, test, and analyze readouts, IR focal plane arrays, and flight Dewars in a production environment.Integrate, debug, validate, and modify new and existing test software. Write test procedures, test specifications, validation plans, and test reports.Read and understand C#, Visual Basic, and Python software. Write and use data reduction software in Python, MATLAB, or C#.Analyze and improve existing test circuits, systems, and test processes.Research and develop new test hardware related to low noise, high speed analog and digital acquisition.Assist other engineers and technicians in the performance of related duties.Interact with various supervisors and production personnel to ensure effective communication and product flow.Advise on equipment required to meet production schedules including repair, calibration, and replacement. Maintain inventory of ready troubleshooting test equipment, use as required, and occasionally train others in its operation.Job Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5-7 years related experience in related field; Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience.Desired familiarity with automated semiconductor wafer probing.Desired knowledge of Teradyne equipment programming and operation extremely desirable.Desired knowledge of Bolometer and cooled ROIC functionality.Desired familiarity with Verilog, Xilinx ISE, Quartus FPGA development and maintenance.Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce
Salary Range:
$96,200.00-$128,300.000Pay Transparency
