Test Engineer

Description

Works with product design team to determine product testing parameters

Assists in test and validation planning per project

Assists in execution of tests and test cases per the test plan

Assists in developing test procedures

Works with Test Technicians to complete tests

Assists in designing and constructing test fixtures

Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, and software issues

Analyzes test results, makes recommendations to design teams

Creates detailed test reports

Assists in lab instrumentation research and selection

Assists in maintenance and calibration of lab equipment

Utilize data processing and visualization tools such as MATLAB

Use communication protocols and associated tools such as CAN preferred

Develop test procedures, test fixtures

Instrumentation, data acquisition equipment

Data acquisition and processing

String gage data, accelerometer data, structural/frame testing, characterization testing

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's of science in engineering related field

3+ years of experience in a test engineering role

Experience with lab instrumentation and data acquisition systems

Experience in the on-road or off-road vehicle, automotive or transportation industry preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
