Actalent is hiring an Electrical/Test Engineer for an Aerospace/DoD company located around Syracuse, NY. Position offers full time benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays, OT pay, and flexibility with scheduling. Current work schedule is 4/10s (every Friday off). Description + Plans implements tests documents and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components elements subsystems and/or systems. + Reviews evaluates and derives requirements for testability develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. + Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. + Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software components subsystems and systems. + Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area. Required Skills + Technical Writing for Procedures + Understand and Follow Configuration Management CM practices ex.EPDM + Test/Lab equipment experience; oscilloscopes, mulitmeters, etc. + Troubleshooting experience + Ability to obtain US Secret Clearance Desired Skills + Digital/Analog + Electrical Test Measurement + RF Radar and/or Sonar experience + Networking basics + Good Documentation Skills + Experience in a Factory Management System ex.
