Test Engineer
**Role Description** Seeking a motivated, experienced Test Engineer with strong technical, logic and interpersonal skills who is up for the challenge of joining a high-performing Test Engineering team. As a Test Engineer, you will provide expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based scientific, technical, and business software systems and use expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software. Test Engineer responsibilities include: + Perform tasks necessary to ensure the identification and documentation of hazards within software systems using various analysis tools and techniques. + Review and evaluate systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety. + Confirm design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation. + Uses expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software and automated software testing systems and harnesses with focus on transactional databases and backend systems and database programmability (stored procedures, functions, triggers). + Work in one or several areas, such as software design, ad-hoc and structured software testing, automated test development, configuration management procedures, statistical analysis, modeling, data warehousing and analytics. + Works with, develops and maintains automated testing systems and harnesses that execute automated tests suites to test SQL programmability, SQL based applications and Azure Devops (or TFS) CI/CD pipelines. **Required Skills & Qualifications** (LCAT Requirements) + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. OR 4 years’ relevant experience in lieu of degree. + 5 additional years of relevant experience + Experience analyzing data and presenting information to stakeholders. + Experience with programming or SQL or BI Platform. + Must be a US Citizen or Authorized to work in the US (if not a citizen) and a resident of the US for at least 3 years within the last 5 years. + Candidates that do not meet the required qualifications will not be considered. **Preferred Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working with Azure + Experience configuring, building and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines + Software development background + Experience using test automation tools **Compensation Ranges** Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience.
