Test Engineer
Job Title: Test Engineer Job Description The Test Engineer will conduct manual tests on robots to ensure they complete tasks as prescribed before being approved for manufacturing. This role requires a blend of electrical and mechanical experience, the ability to read testing documents, and an astute attention to detail. Responsibilities + Work with the software development team to run tests ensuring machines/robots perform as intended. + Follow a provided test log and instructions to test the robot, ranging from simple movements to advanced functions. + Record data line by line and report findings back to the test manager and software development team. + Write and communicate verbally to describe test results effectively. + Enter data into Excel and other software using a workstation. Essential Skills + B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering + Hands-on experience with electronics or electro-mechanical equipment + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to follow directions and work autonomously + Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge + Testing and troubleshooting experience + Familiarity with robotics and documentation Additional Skills & Qualifications + Aptitude and attitude + Hobbies outside of work Work Environment The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The office space is modern and updated, equipped with a full kitchen, offices, a ping pong table, and a large test warehouse for robots. Most work will take place in the electronics/quality lab, but may also occur on the floor where robots are being tested. The company offers a flexible schedule and a relaxed work environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
