About The Role\n
\n
The Test Engineer at Seegrid works closely with our system and software designers, product managers, and project managers to develop and execute test cases to ensure that the robotic system satisfies safety, technical, and customer requirements. This role is a key part of our development process, so you must be able to communicate clearly with individuals from different backgrounds.\n

Responsibilities Include:\n\nDefine, develop, and execute test cases and plans for Seegrid's robotic trucks, subsystems, and software. Having experience with test case automation is a strong plus.\nEnsure test programs and plans adequately cover technical, customer, and regulatory requirements\nPlan, schedule, and implement testing for product release cycles, working with Engineering and Product Management to establish criteria for new features and functions and developing test programs and plans to assure performance to these criteria\nSupport branch and integration testing of software tickets to address software changes: this role is closely integrated with the development team\nPerform exploratory testing to test the limits of the system\nSupport FMEA and risk analyses, and develop test programs (including regression tests) to demonstrate adequacy for these analyses\n\n

Required Qualifications:\n\nAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or, Computer Science or related discipline with 1+ years of experience in the area of software and system test during the entire development lifecycle\nSolid understanding of the software testing process is necessary. Understanding of verification and validation (V&V) concepts a plus\nDetailed, process oriented, with demonstrated understanding and discipline of applying engineering fundamentals\nPersonable, with great written and verbal communication skills\nMust be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, comfortable and demonstrating flexibility in working in a fast-paced, innovative environment\n\n

Desirable Qualifications:\n\nWell-grounded with the ability to prioritize, multitask and independently problem solve \nResults oriented, self-motivated and proactive with a proven track record working in cross-functional teams to effectively implement change and deliver on aggressive timelines\nExperience with Linux a strong plus\nExperience with robotics a plus\n\n
