Job Title: Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will conduct product testing using vibration and load/deflection techniques and equipment, read, interpret, and execute Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), and develop and validate new test methods and profiles for product qualification. Additionally, the Test Engineer will troubleshoot testing and control issues to ensure accurate, repeatable results, compile detailed, accurate test result documentation in compliance with AS9100 standards, and maintain and calibrate Test Department gages, fixtures, and inventory. Training and mentoring other staff on testing procedures and equipment use as needed will also be part of the role.

ResponsibilitiesConduct product testing using vibration and load/deflection techniques and equipment.Read, interpret, and execute Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs).Set up and maintain test fixturing and related equipment.Develop and validate new test methods and profiles for product qualification.Troubleshoot testing and control issues to ensure accurate, repeatable results.Compile detailed, accurate test result documentation in compliance with AS9100 standards.Maintain and calibrate Test Department gages, fixtures, and inventory.Train and mentor other staff on testing procedures and equipment use as needed.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to operate and troubleshoot test equipment.Familiarity with AS9100 standards.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation and cross-department collaboration.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.Knowledge of vibration analysis or materials testing methods.Experience with calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing environment.Experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Production.Experience in product testing and analysis.Knowledge of test equipment and test planning.Work Environment

This position requires 100% onsite work in Mahwah, NJ. Our company operates on a 9/80 schedule, allowing for a great work-life balance. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift 50-70 lbs, and wearing proper Personal Protection Equipment where required. We have a tight-knit group with 47 total employees. Shared services model with Milcots in Mahwah includes Accounting, Payroll, and HR. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70000.00/yr.
