Job Role and Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of web-based applications to identify defects and ensure product quality. Perform ETL Testing, inclusive of batch loading and real-time API testing. Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design specifications. Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, and work with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. Participate in the review and analysis of software requirements to ensure testability and identify potential risks. Contribute to the improvement of the testing process and methodologies, including the adoption of automated testing tools and frameworks, Cypress, Postman, JMeter. Maintain a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Assist with production defect troubleshooting and post-deployment verification. Proficiency using Agile software, such as JIRA, for Sprint collaboration and bug tracking. Familiarity with Python, Cypress IO, JavaScript and SQL is a plus. Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing, preferably in a manual testing role. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices. Proficiency in writing test cases, including edge and negative use cases. Ability to self-prioritize work with minimal supervision, collaborating with the agile team and product manager. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
