This job will a contribute to the design of cutting-edge turbo machinery technologies.

The candidate for this job will help expand our knowledge and capability of turbo machines and other aerospace hardware used for both military and civilian applications by overseeing development programs that involve testing and troubleshooting many aspects of Aerospace hardware.

Key Responsibilities

Major responsibility: prepare parts and scan using Zeiss ATOS and Creaform structured light systemPerform detailed dimensional analysis and provide reports for internal customers

Other responsibilities:

Perform static stress testing, hydrostatic testing, CG/MOI measurementPerform modal testing, acoustic ring signature testing, electro-dynamic vibration shaker testing and laser vibrometry testingOwn a test from beginning to end: develop test requirements and procedures from customer input, estimate program costs, manage test schedules (hardware/labor), conduct test reviews and have regular communication with the internal customerGuide technicians who will support testing phases: setup/run/tear down

YOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics2+ years’ experience in Engineering Laboratory EnvironmentExperience with structured light scanning and basic design principles
