Description Flight Test Engineer reports to the Manager of Test Engineering. The Flight Test Engineer is responsible for test and integration activities from development through deployment. What will be critical with this role is flight test experience in the loads, doors and ECS/pressurization side of the business. We will need them to work with the program to make sure they understand what they will need to test based on the design of a large cargo door being added to a large airframe. They may also get into a bit of the smoke evacuation test side of things. They need to be able to generate Part 25 FAA style test plans, work with the relevant DERs, coordinate instrumentation needs to sub-contractors, execute the test and generated the associated report.
