HOW A TEST ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Design, develop, and implement test plans, manual test scripts, and automated testing processesCreate tests in the context of a collaborative, team-based environmentImplement and identify innovative tools, frameworks, automation, and utilities to increase velocity while maintaining and improving quality standardsApply technical, business, and quality skills to assess product and code health, implement modern testing approaches, and prevent production defects.Help establish a highly collaborative environment that values speed and qualityPerform API level testingActively participate in agile meetings with product and program managementHave a proactive attitude and a willingness to “go the extra mile” to get the job doneCreate end-to-end System Integration test cases to use as a design for developing regression automated tests.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor of Science (or equivalent experience)
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
Required Skills:
Familiarity of various SDLC methodologiesStrong experience with automated testing tools/frameworks/languages such as Selenium, UFT, TestNG, Cucumber, NUnit, JUnit, JMeter, etc.Experience working as part of an agile team utilizing Scrum, XP, Kanban, or SAFe agileGeneration and maintenance of controlled test datasets and scenariosExperience working with DevSecOps pipelinesExperience writing automated tests for web-based applications, web services, APIs, and databasesExperience testing commercial-off-the-shelf applicationsConduct functional, regression, integration and performance testing across various platforms.Identify, document and track defect using tools like Azure DevOps, working with developers to ensure fixes are tested and verified.
Security Clearance Level: Must possess active Top Secret clearance/ Department of Energy Q

Preferred Skills/Certifications:
ISTQB or similar software tester certification
