As a part of R&D in Ericsson, our Automation organization has full product responsibility for Automated Acceptance Test (AAT) framework. AAT is the vehicle to provide test automation capabilities independently or integrated in CI/CD pipelines. It is developed to simplify acceptance test cases creation for Packet Core products. The AAT framework consist of GUI based Frontend and Python powered Backend.
The receivers (customers) of AAT are both Ericsson R&D and major telecommunication operators in the world.

We are now looking for Test Environment Engineer to craft and build the business value we are delivering. This is an excellent opportunity to join us and lead the latest Ericsson projects.
What you will do:
• Be responsible for providing required test environment to AAT framework and its Test Service (e.g. EPC, 5GC) development.
• Ensure a stable and high performing test environment and optimize the solutions/services to the agreed service levels in a cost efficient and timely manner.
• You will work in AAT program, have cross & close cooperation with Ericsson different lab (e.g MMEZone, Youlab)
• Gain different knowledge in AAT, 5G Application, Network and Solution Architecture.
• Create cost effective solutions through activities in network design, planning and deployment.
• Configure and integrate nodes and solutions into networks (new and existing)
• Maintain the environment at an operative state.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in the organization.
• Work in a group of dedicated and open-minded people.
The skills you bring:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Information Technology, Electronics or related
• Good knowledge on Openstack/Docker and Kubernets.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in similar area
• Domain experience: Linux/Unix, IP, Script, Telecommunication (Core Network)
• IT processes, tools and infrastructure knowledge
• Good English communication skill (spoken and written)
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Innovative and solution thinking abilities.
• Skills to work in a team, as well as on individual tasks.
• Readiness to take challenges and open mind to learn new things
Great if you have:
• Experience in Telecommunication Packet Core area is a plus.
• Being able to handle Ericsson propriety equipment and equipment from other vendors.
• Good computer skill including the Administration of Unix or Linux, Shell or Python programming is preferred.
• Good knowledge on TCP/IP networking, familiar with Cisco/Juniper configuration is preferred
• Understanding of different Software operating systems
