Essential Duties
Lead by example in all CC&V safety and environmental processes, ensuring complete safe practices; Operate haul trucks and water trucks to assigned locations such as load-out bin to valley heap leach, and other haulage requirements as assigned by dispatch or requested by the mine supervisor in a safe and productive manner; Must be able to read, write, and possess basic math and science skills to complete daily reporting requirements; Must possess the ability to work unsupervised and wherever needed to assure the success of Newmont Mining.

Training & Experience
2-5 years’ experience in the safe, productive operation of CAT 777, 785, and 793 haul trucks and 773 water trucks is preferred but not required; Capable of learning all operators manual, safety rules, and company procedures for all equipment listed above; Demonstrate a complete walk-around inspection and verbally communicate mechanical problems in detail to mine maintenance. Positions also available for entry level operators - must have good work history; good safety attitude and willingness to learn.
Working Conditions
Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
