**Test Lab Manager** Engineering Essex County, NJ, US + Added - 25/11/2024 Apply for Job **Position Overview:** This role involves overseeing a team of test engineers and lab technicians responsible for testing low-voltage and medium-voltage cable accessories and related components. **Key Responsibilities:** + Oversee the planning and execution of product qualification testing as requested by the engineering team. + Manage and carry out internal R&D testing in coordination with engineering. + Develop and maintain the test area schedule in collaboration with engineering and sales teams. + Conduct root cause analysis and generate detailed product failure analysis reports. + Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of all electrical testing equipment, including production electrical test cells. **Minimum Educational Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Power Engineering preferred). **Preferred Experience:** + Hands-on laboratory experience testing products or equipment in the power industry (Transmission or Distribution). + Proven ability to develop test plans aligned with industry standards. + Strong proficiency in technical document writing. + Management experience is a plus. **Required Training:** + Familiarity with the company’s Quality Management System. + Awareness of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
