Key Responsibilities:
Qualification Support: Assess the impact of product changes and deviations to define, encourage and drive required qualification activities.Project Delivery: Responsible to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Planning & Estimation: Provide valuable inputs to project planning, estimation, and management activities.Technical Presentations: Offer technical support for internal/external customer presentations, teleconferences, and meetings.Testing & Validation: Carry out qualification testing, both internal and external, ensuring compliance with industry standards.Customer Support: May include travel to customer sites in the UK and internationally to support technical meetings and qualification trials.Essential Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree: Minimum 2.1 degree in Engineering or a similar discipline.Relevant Experience: At least 3 years of experience working in sensor-related product design and development within the aerospace, military, or commercial sectors.Communication & Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively.Desirable Skills:
Project management: Experience in supporting / managing projects in a similar technical environment.International Collaboration: Experience working in multi-cultural teams and international settings.Technical Expertise: Knowledge of inertial measurement units (IMU) and experience with the product introduction lifecycle (from concept to product launch).Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills.Mathematical Modelling: Familiarity with tools like Matlab or Minitab for data analysis and modeling.What We Offer You:
