Job Title: Test Results Coordinator/Club Tester
Salary Range: $54,000.00 – $68,000.00 /annual; plus, bonus eligibility
Summary: Conduct all aspects of R&D player testing and evaluate results to provide data and feedback on the performance of golf equipment. Travel to major markets for offsite competitive testing. Responsible for the administration, organization and reporting of consumer test data. Update and maintain several databases consisting of player information and product performance. Revise and develop methods for test results reporting as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Perform live player testing following established protocols using a variety of measurement equipment.
• Generate technical test reports using statistical software and Excel spreadsheets that provide vital information on golf club performance to Titleist R&D engineers.
• Organize and archive all testing results.
• Maintain test pool database and schedule testers for live testing.
• Actively recruit new testers utilizing various means and sources.
• Coordinate Consumer Awards program and update changes to testers' profiles in Access database tables; including points/orders, player and contact information, test participation, equipment, and launch conditions.
• Update and maintain Excel templates for data reporting by reformatting and updating formulas as needed.
• Receive test clubs and check for correct components.
• Work with R&D engineers to schedule tests appropriately.
• Return clubs to R&D upon completion of test.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred, PGA Membership a plus.
• Computer literacy a must.
• Minimum of two years experience in golf club fitting and/or related golf education ie: PGA member, Science Van experience, SDGA or Professional Golfers Career College graduate.
• Full range of motion required. Must be able to spend long days outside on feet.
• Knowledge of the golf swing and the cause-effect relationship of the golfer, equipment and performance, as well as the ability to communicate this information orally and on paper.
• Strong technical background, and the ability to focus on precise details.
• Proficiency in Access (tables, queries, and forms) and Excel spreadsheets (formatting, formulas and templates) a must.
• Must possess excellent people skills in order and be able to develop relationships with the club testers as well as the R&D engineers.
