Summary: Seeking a Test Services Technician for 1st shift to perform shielding effectiveness testing of materials and EMI/EMC compliance testing.
Job Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status
Ability to get Department of Defense Security Clearance
High School Diploma or GED required
0-2 years experience in EMI/EMC testing and analysis required
Ability to read, write, and understand basic English
Preferred Skills:
2+ years experience in EMI/EMC testing and analysis
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or other engineering discipline
Working knowledge of EMI/EMC Compliance Testing (MIL-STD-461, DO 160, IEC61000 family)
Excellent electrical and Radio Frequency (RF) comprehension
Job Responsibilities:
Perform EMI/EMC Testing for military and commercial customers
Conduct Shielding Effectiveness and custom material parameters tests for R&D, Applications, and customers
Interpret results of EMI tests to make recommendations for solving test failures
Prepare, modify, and review EMI test reports, plans, and data for customers
Collaborate with R&D team to test new and existing EMI and Thermal materials for electric properties
Participate in Quality Control program of Test Service Department
Use appropriate PPE for designated area
Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
