**Aerotek Test Technician (2nd Shift)!**
**Job Description**
This role will support units for in-process testing and final testing, assisting with testing, training, and documentation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform testing on the electrical components of control panels.
+ Utilize voltmeters and ohmmeters to test 24V, 120V, and 480V electrical systems.
+ Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose electrical controls and faults based on client metrics.
+ Complete compliance reporting using Excel and work with electrical assembly technicians to resolve issues and suggest possible repairs.
+ Assist in building and manufacturing testers, fixtures, and tooling as required to meet customer expectations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficient knowledge of electrical prints and schematics.
+ Strong understanding of AC/DC and switch gears, HMI, and 24V, 120V, and 480V electrical systems.
+ Experience with controls, current flow, and AC/DC drives.
+ Ability to operate a personal computer with a Windows-based operating system and related software.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2-4 years of experience in electronics, electromechanical, or electrical testing in manufacturing.
+ Technical, vocational, or associate degree in lieu of hands-on experience, with a strong understanding of required tools.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics or prints.
+ Capability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions while working with a team.
+ Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

**Work Environment**
Work the second shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory availability on Saturdays. Schedules need to be flexible for the second shift, with potential time frames of 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM, or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM during holiday weeks. Overtime is available as needed but will not exceed 60 hours per week, and there will be no seven-day workweeks. The environment is extremely clean and temperature-controlled, with 11 cell stations in the electrical assembly area. The department currently has 275 employees, with expected growth to 800 by the end of the year. The attire requires composite toe or steel-toe shoes with rubber soles, jeans or work pants, and a t-shirt or polo. Large dangling jewelry, spandex, and exposed midriffs are not permitted.
