Test Technician Job Locations US-MN-St. Paul ID 2024-14208 Overview

Element has an opportunity for a test technician to evaluate customer products by utilizing standard methods (ASTM, ANSI, ISO, etc), variations of known methods as well as custom requests. Test technicians work closely with coordinators/managers and customers to test a variety of products from the sleep system market including consumer, hospitality, military and medical.

 

Responsibilities Process incoming samples (un-package and place samples in holding areas)Perform routine and custom performance and regulatory testing in accordance with relevant industry or customer specificationsConducts tests and keep accurate records in standardized formsTesting includes durability, performance and flammability evaluationsMust comply with safety rules, company policies, and procedures Skills / Qualifications Mechanical / electronics aptitude a plusStrong problem solving skills, and the ability to deal with a variety of challenges in unique situationsWorks well with colleagues and customersAble to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
