Test Technician
Job Title: Test TechnicianJob Description Responsibilities: In this position, you will get to: • Conduct Technical Products performance tests on parts and products as requested in an accurate and timely manner. • Work with the requestor to modify and expand test plans and procedures. • Generate written reports of test results in an accurate, concise manner, drawing sound conclusions and observations. • Set up and operate lab equipment and contribute to the organization and layout of the lab for increased efficiency. • Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and make accurate prototype parts, assemblies and products as requested. • Design and build equipment and fixtures to conduct testing. • Assist in maintaining the calibration of the lab equipment. • Work with agency representatives/inspectors to help facilitate lab and manufacturing inspections and work with the Standards Engineer to resolve any findings. • Coordinate and manage off-site testing. • Support and participate new product development Lean activities (i.e. DFMEA-Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Design Reviews, 3P Conceptual Design event). • Assist engineers with design and development of test machinery and equipment as required. • Provide testing and engineering support for Engineered Solution and Value Engineering projects. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Anoka, Minnesota.
