Test Technician

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Test Technician.
The hours for this role are 6:00am-2:30pm
The hourly rate for this position is $23.50 per hour.

**What you’ll do:**
Please note, certain duties performed by this role require this position to be subject to the guidelines of our Repair Station Certificate and are subject to DOT drug testing.
**Primary Functions:**
• Pressure test aircraft ducting systems using High Pressure and Burst Tests
• Serializing parts to properly identify part placement
• Using 2D Part Marking System
• Conducting underwater visual examination to ensure quality of weld and leakage
• Reading routers for drawing requirements and determining marking specs and location
• Performing visual inspection to detect damages that may occur prior to delivery
• Printing and filling out ATP form
• Weighing, measuring, and checking parts meet drawing requirements
• Multi-tasking and prioritizing parts to sustain on time delivery
**Qualifications:**
• H.S. Diploma or G.E.D
• Minimum of 2 year’s experience in manufacturing environment
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
**Skills:**
**Position Criteria:**
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Must be self-motivated and able to work without supervision
• Capable of interpreting aerospace drawings, and using measuring equipment including but not limited to: calipers, measuring scale, and pi tape.
• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis.
• Must be able to stand 8 hours a day
