**Job Title: Test Technician** **_Available Shifts:_** (DAY) 6:45am-3:15pm or (SWING) 3:45pm-12:15am **_Pay:_** $22.50/hr-$24/hr **Job Description** As a Technician I, you will perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Responsibilities include testing and troubleshooting assemblies and/or final systems, setting up and testing more complex systems and mechanical assemblies, following test process instructions (TPI), determining test specifications, methods, and procedures from statements of work (SOW), completing rework on assemblies and/or systems, and preparing technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. You may also be involved in tasks such as unpacking, packaging, placing labels, crating, and any other tasks assigned. • Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. • Performs the set-up and testing of more complex systems and mechanical assemblies. • Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. • Follows test process instructions (TPI). • Determines test specifications, methods and procedures from statement of work (SOW). • Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems • Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. • May perform other tasks including but not limited to unpacking, packaging, placing labels and crating • Any other tasks assigned **Additional Skills & Qualifications** • Good written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Knowledge of basic office applications, such as word processors, spreadsheets and databases • Familiarity with troubleshooting or networking computer components and handling • Ability to regularly lift, push and/or move up to 50 pounds • Ability to stand for a prolonged period • Ability to work on ladders or stools **Hard Skills** + Computer skills + Testing + Downloading software + Troubleshooting software and hardware 6 Month Contract-to-Hire role with long-term employment opportunity and weekly attendance bonuses. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
