Job Description
The Test Technician is responsible for the inspection, configuration, troubleshooting, and testing of products to make sure they meet customer needs in accordance with regulatory requirements. This will be a first shift opportunity onsite in Madison Wisconsin at Accuray's Murphy building.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Test, troubleshoot and repair of product in accordance with quality system requirements and manufacturing instructions.Perform manufacturing tests and commissioning of the medical systems, including but not limited to all instructions and procedures required to complete a fully commissioned system which has passed all testing and is ready for shipment.Test and configure computer systems in accordance with quality system requirements and manufacturing instructions.Perform or assist in component test and subassembly testing.Participate in development and review of manufacturing procedures to help ensure manufacturing requirements and goals are achieved.Assist in development of manufacturing instructions, that document and control the manufacturing process.Assist the development of manufacturing tool and fixture requirements and promote ongoing control.Assist the training of manufacturing personnel, as required.Assist in deployment of product changes (ECOs) to ensure correct implementation.Assist the development of facility requirements to accommodate production, including workflow, shelving, other storage, and workstations.Provide feedback to manufacturing or engineering personnel concerning needs and product enhancements that would improve both quality and ease of production/servicing of the product.Interface and support regulatory affairs as required to help ensure production processes and facilities are in accordance with FDA, OSHA and other applicable regulations.Implementation and use of special facility controls that may be required, for example ESD, cleanliness, etc.Qualifications:
Associate’s or Technical degree in Electronics, Computer Technology, or related discipline preferred.Experience with high voltage and radiation generating equipment.Three years’ experience working in manufacturing test or engineering activities is essential.Experience in interpretation and use of product design drawings, schematics and specifications.Experience with Windows OS and related applications.Experience with personal computer systems, including word processing, spreadsheet reports, and E-mail.Familiarity and experience with oscilloscopes, DMM and other electronic test equipment.Experience in a heavily documented and controlled production process environment.Experience in product testing and understanding of calibration control.Experience in ESD and cleanliness special control processes.Experience with safety and health (OSHA), FDA and ISO 9001 quality system requirements.Must be able to regularly lift and/or move physical inventory weighting up to 50 pounds.The employee is frequently required to climb ladders, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required during the manufacturing, inspection, and testing of Accuray's components and products.Give hope.
