Job Title: Test TechnicianJob Description Responsible for performing electrical tests on rotating electrical machines, evaluating their compliance with the project and/or applicable standards; evaluating the divergences raised during the test together with the test analyst, suggesting improvements when necessary, generating information aimed at continuous improvement and guarantee of the product quality. Responsibilities + Perform electrical tests on rotating electrical machines. + Evaluate compliance with project and applicable standards. + Work with the test analyst to evaluate divergences raised during tests. + Suggest improvements when necessary. + Generate information aimed at continuous improvement and guarantee of product quality. + Calibrate and maintain electrical test equipment. + Develop electronic databases, standards, work instructions, and procedures. + Identify devices, coupling, flanges, keys, etc., necessary to execute electrical tests accurately and safely. Essential Skills + Troubleshooting + Electrical knowledge + Mechanical knowledge + Proficiency with oscilloscope Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrotechnical, or Electromechanical + Knowledge of the manufacturing process and testing of rotating electrical machines + Familiarity with measuring instruments for industrial electronic applications + Ability to communicate and present detailed, technical initiatives to non-technical people Work Environment The work environment involves handling electrical testing equipment and rotating electrical machines. The role requires precise identification of devices and components necessary for conducting tests. Standard safety procedures and maintenance of equipment are critical.
