Shift: First Shift | 10 hours/day | M-Th | 6:00am to 4:30pmPay Rate: $35-$38/hrOur client:Our client is a leading aerospace and defense contractor. This is a temporary position (W2 Only) in Chelmsford, MA and is an excellent opportunity for the right individual. The contract is expected to last approximately 1 year. With the opportunity to convert permanently. This role is on-site, so you should be comfortable commuting to Chelmsford. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities:Conduct testing and troubleshooting of RF microwave hybrid assemblies.Perform tests under varying environmental conditions including temperature, vibration, and mechanical shock.Operate burn-in ovens and execute both manual and automated testing methods.Use computer systems to retrieve and input relevant test and assembly documentation.Collaborate with RF Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering teams for process development and product troubleshooting.Execute electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks, modifications, and quality assessments.Employ standard electronic assembly tools and uphold adherence to FOD and ESD safety practices.Basic Qualifications:Proven experience in testing, tuning, and troubleshooting RF microwave hybrid assemblies.Familiarity with RF equipment such as RF Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, RF Power Meters, and PNA Network Analyzers.Proficiency working under a microscope and using hand tools (e.g., torque drivers, tweezers) with strong dexterity and eye-hand coordination.Ability to interpret detailed process sheets, assembly drawings, and schematics.Competency in operating computer-driven vibration equipment.Soldering experience conforming to J-STD-001 for tuning processes.Analytical experience with RF microwave test data.Capability in drafting test procedures and using schematics for troubleshooting.Experience in ESD and FOD controlled environments.High School Diploma required (Bachelor's degree not necessary).Preferred:Active Secret Clearance preferred; candidates with previously held active clearances will be considered.Interim Secret Clearance required to start.
