Job Title: Test TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a Test Technician to support final testing and shipping and receiving of product lines to support our customer in Reston, VA. This role is crucial as it ensures that all equipment meets quality standards before being shipped to customers. Responsibilities + Support the Test and Ship Manager. + Conduct final testing on equipment before shipping to customers, following specific quality procedures. + Pack and ship products to carriers while adhering to international export control rules. + Handle shipments with lithium batteries, which require special steps and paperwork due to their classification as dangerous materials. + Receive products from customers for repair and maintenance. + Perform preliminary testing and diagnosis of incoming products. + Assemble battery packs. Essential Skills + Experience in testing products. + Assembly experience. + Troubleshooting and testing experience. + Quality control and quality assurance knowledge. + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Knowledge of export compliance and handling regulated materials. + High School Diploma. + 0-3 years of experience as an electrical or assembly technician. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Detail-oriented. + Comfortable wearing multiple hats. Work Environment In this position, you will support a small team of 15 employees and wear multiple hats. This role is a vital part of the quality process, ensuring that equipment is thoroughly tested and meets standards before being shipped to customers.
