**Job Title: Test Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting solid-state aircraft ground converters and power units used in military, general aviation, commercial, and industrial applications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret schematics and wire lists.
+ Read and comprehend test procedures and data sheets.
+ Properly interface with assembly personnel when problems arise.
+ Conduct troubleshooting of faults using block diagrams and schematics to the system, board, and component level.
+ Follow production test procedures, recording data as required on completed units.
+ Ensure any malfunctioning unit operation is documented and reported properly.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and wire lists.
+ Proficiency in reading and comprehending test procedures and data sheets.
+ Working knowledge of Windows.
+ Full proficiency with standard test equipment, including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, Meg-Ohm meters, Hi-pot testers, and thermal imagers.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience as a test technician.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
+ Skills in troubleshooting, electrical work, and soldering.
+ Experience with calibration.

**Work Environment**
This is a direct placement position with a 1st shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The work involves using various test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, Meg-Ohm meters, Hi-pot testers, and thermal imagers. Dress code is business casual.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, Texas.
