Job Title: Test Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to build manufacturing orders for customers. You will assemble RF components using crimpers, wire strippers, and other hand tools, as well as perform soldering tasks including fine pitch and surface mount soldering. You will conduct testing of assembled components using oscilloscopes, ohm meters, and spectrum analyzers, and troubleshoot and repair issues found during testing.

ResponsibilitiesBuild manufacturing orders for customers.Assemble RF components using crimpers, wire strippers, and other hand tools.Perform fine pitch and surface mount soldering.Conduct testing of assembled components using oscilloscopes, ohm meters, and spectrum analyzers.Troubleshoot and repair issues found during testing.Follow the defined production schedule and complete assigned tasks weekly.Read and interpret BOMs, work instructions, and other tools to complete builds and training.Prioritize tasks as directed by the production manager.Perform chip soldering and soldering pins and connections to the boards.Communicate and provide feedback to engineers.Document all work on the traveler and make necessary changes to redline documents/blueprints.Essential SkillsExperience with crimpers, wire strippers, soldering, spectrum analyzers, ohm meters, and oscilloscopes.Basic knowledge of electrical and electronics principles.Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic components.Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.Effective communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with database management, job loading, and queueing.Flexibility to perform various job functions as needed in a small company environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. The environment is dynamic and offers opportunities to work with advanced electrical manufacturing and testing equipment. Flexibility and adaptability are key in this small company setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00
