Job Title: Test Technician
Job Description

A medical device manufacturer is seeking a Test Technician to test a variety of surgical instruments. The tests could be either mechanical or electrical in nature. You will be tasked with interpreting the test request, setting up the tests, building fixtures as needed, running and supporting each test, and documenting the test results. This role provides technical support to engineers and scientists on a variety of technical tasks, specifically testing of products and preparing technical reports and documentation.

ResponsibilitiesInterpret test requests and set up tests for surgical instruments.Build fixtures as needed to support testing.Conduct mechanical and electrical tests.Document test results and prepare technical reports.Provide technical support to engineers and scientists.Essential SkillsExperience with mechanical and electrical product testing (2+ years).Ability to read blueprints/CAD.Mechanical and electrical aptitude.Experience with test equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate degree or higher in STEM.Experience in the medical device industry.Work Environment

This position involves working onsite at the test lab. The working hours are from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience testing prototypes and current medical devices, with potential progression into other engineering roles.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
