Job Description
This position involves working in a test lab that evaluates a variety of products and equipment. The Test Technician will be responsible for setting up tests, using power tools, building and assembling test equipment, and recording results with data acquisition equipment and Microsoft Word. The primary function of this role is to execute tests.
ResponsibilitiesPerform testing of hand tools and safety products.Prepare samples using various tools to cut, modify, or condition them as specified by procedures.Operate test equipment with necessary training.Use tools and fittings to create detailed and effective fixtures for holding test samples.Gather data and document results in a custom lab database.Follow all company work instructions.Communicate with engineering and quality teams to resolve questions around testing.Essential SkillsMechanical skills.Experience with power tools and hand tools.Experience in DIY projects demonstrating mechanical skills.Ability to work with power tools.Troubleshooting skills.Assembly and construction experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsThe team will provide training on specific machines and processes.Hands-on mechanical skills demonstrated through various personal or professional projects.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70,000 - 75,000

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.48
