Job Title: Test Technician

Job Description

We are looking for multiple Test Technicians on 1st and 2nd shift to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, heating and cooling systems of large industrial units. This role primarily involves working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical equipment.

ResponsibilitiesWork off spec sheets and blueprints daily.Prepare units before testing; fill with fluids, install test instruments, and pre-set controls.Check the wiring of the unit and flow of fluids to ensure proper placement and functionality, then document findings.Test units per spec sheet with the appropriate testing equipment.Record data accurately.Perform final run on units.Prepare units for shipping and ensure all test-related items are in order.Maintain a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers.Essential SkillsExperience in an industrial/manufacturing environment working in a test capacity.Diagnostic/troubleshooting experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics.Mechanical aptitude.HVAC experience highly preferred.Work Environment

The schedule is Monday to Friday with 1st shift from 6:30am-3:00pm and 2nd shift from 3:00pm-11:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
