Adecco is looking for a Tech Technician in Newburyport! This is a temp to hire opportunity. **Hours:** 7:30AM-4:00PM, Monday-Friday **Pay:** $26-$28/hr DOE **Position Overview:** Tests functionality and calibrates electronic or electro-mechanical systems and sub-assemblies according to established procedures using computerized or standard test equipment. Troubleshoots or repairs systems to the board level with some emphasis on component level trouble shooting **Job Duties:** + May operate assemblies in a burn-in oven to elevate temperature prior to testing of assembly + Examination of assemblies for defects or workmanship issues, such as scratches, poor connections, loose hardware, etc. + Calibrate and test assemblies according to written procedures. + Compares test results with specifications to determine if limits or standards have been met. + Failed and rejected assemblies are recorded for all rejected assemblies before attempting any repair of the rejected assembly. + May require verifying dimensions of parts, using standard gauges. + Effectively communicates with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others to resolve problems. **Requirements:** + Associate's degree from a two-year college, technical school or equivalent experience. + 2+ years of experience in a Test Technician or equivalent role. + Ability to work overtime as needed. **INTERESTED?
