Proficiently read and understand construction plans and specifications. Conduct laboratory analysis of construction materials according to specified methods and standards. Engage in physical activities such as walking through uneven terrain, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Essential Skills + Density testing + Concrete testing + ACI certification + Nuclear Gauge certification + Ability to test and achieve required certification following training + Proficiency in reading and understanding construction plans and specifications Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School diploma or equivalent + Preferred two-year or four-year college degree in science, construction, or engineering + Equivalent work history considered + Current certifications (DOT, ACI, AWS, etc.) preferred + Testing laboratory experience preferred + Strong written and oral communication skills + Work history in civil engineering or construction prioritized + Proficiency in report writing, organization, and utilization of technology Work Environment Outdoor job sites, dealing with elements as long as there is no precipitation. Work involves physical activities such as walking through uneven terrain, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
